2012 Northwestern Regional Meeting - March 17th

Northwestern Region Clubs,

The Regional Meeting be held on Saturday, March 17 at 12 noon, rain or shine. The location will be the Placer County Schutzhund Club (PCSC) Field. The noon start time allows most people time to travel.

My goal is to have as many clubs attend as possible so I would like to give as much advance notice as possible. The Regional Director will not authorize any events for that day, Saturday, March 17, 2012.

PCSC members will provide a BBQ lunch. The field will be open at 9 am for obedience for anyone that wishes to train on our field. After the meeting, anyone is welcome to use our field for protection and there will be no field fees.

Regional Officer’s reports.

Timing of Regional Meeting?  Should the Regional Meeting be conducted as part of the Regional Championship? i.e. Dinner & meeting Saturday night of Regional Championship weekend.

A Regional training seminar? Discussion of plans, ideas, suggestions, etc.

Club to host 2012 Regional Schutzhund Championship.
Two clubs have already expressed interest in hosting the Regionals this year. I believe this should be something the Region votes on at the Regional meeting. Interested parties can prepare a brief presentation showing pictures of proposed venue and experience hosting trials and then let the clubs decide. If any other clubs are interested in hosting the Regionals this year, please contact me by Saturday, March 10.

Club to host 2012 Regional Breed Show. No clubs have yet contacted me in this regard.
